The Internship Career Fair will be held in the University of Houston University Center, Houston Room on Wednesday, October 6th , 2010 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. The purpose of this event is to allow employers to share internship information and promote opportunities with UH students and alumni in all majors for all internship seasons.

Internship Career Fair Registration is now available online at http://www.career.uh.edu/careerfairs/internship/2010.

There is a nominal registration fee of $30 for non-profit/government organizations and $60 for profit organizations, which is payable by check or credit card online at http://www.career.uh.edu/careerfairs/internship/2010.

Registration Includes:

• 6-ft Table with tablecloth to display information (Due to limited space, we encourage employers to keep their display to 5-6 ft. in width behind the table or 2-3 ft. upon your table)
• Complimentary light refreshments during the Fair
• Free Internship posting in JOBank prior to the Internship Career Fair
• Free access to UCS’ ResumeBank for ONE YEAR
• Complimentary unlimited job postings (all types) in JOBank for ONE YEAR (job postings are normally $20 per job/month)

Upon completion of your online registration, you will receive immediate email confirmation with fair instructions. At any time following your registration, you will also have the option to view or edit your registration and print an invoice and/or receipt for payment through the registration website. This year we are also featuring mock interviews the day before the internship fair. This is a wonderful way to build a presence on campus and help UH students/alumni practice and perfect their interviewing skills. We will hold mock interviews on Tuesday, October 5th , 2010 in the University Career Services office, located at 106 Student Service Center 1, Room 106. If you are interested in "interviewing" students and providing useful feedback, please email Marilyn Wade at: mwade@uh.edu and indicate your preferred shift – 8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm. This opportunity will allow you to market your organization’s brand and provide a great service to UH students and alumni!
